The Roxie Theater, completed in 1931 in the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles, was the last major theater built on Broadway. Designed by John Montgomery Cooper, it was the only major theater designed in the Art Deco style on Broadway. Sadly the structure has seen better days, but you can still get a sense of the amazing architecture and how beautiful the theater was in 1931. A cinema treasure well worth saving!
